Only RAM is the limitation of how much you could calculate.
http://www.agisoft.com/pdf/tips_and_tricks/PhotoScan_Memory_Requirements.pdf

The CPU and GPU could only speed up the processing time.

The system should be good enough for your job. Please also have a look to a good airflow in your computer. Depending of your model the computer maybe takes more then a day to calculate a model ....

I hope the is helpful for you.

There shouldn't be an artificial limit. I believe it would be better to ask Agisoft direct.

maybe i found a solution: PhotoScan.app.document.chunk.model.volume()

the result is: 2849.5282241868945

i would assume this is in m³

General / volume measurement
« on: July 07, 2017, 12:42:45 PM »
Hello,

I have calculated the volume of a area with agisoft but the result is way to inaccurate.

The result is -> Volume: 2.87e+03 m^3

is there a possibility to change the output to a single m³ and not something with Xe+03m³ ?

Version 1.3.2 build 4205

The key component for you is the amount of ram in your system.

http://www.agisoft.com/pdf/tips_and_tricks/PhotoScan_Memory_Requirements.pdf

if you calculate in Arbitrary mode than you will need a lot of ram depending of the settings.

Could you specify you processing settings ? (Building Model / Quality)

I would assume that most of the programs are optimized for intel CPUs.
Is it possible that Agisoft is not using all the multicore potential of the Ryzen ? (atm)

It would be nice to export a geotiff with the overlap.
Could you provide the Report ?

I believe, this should also be possible with the Agisoft Viewer or is this wrong ?
