Is it possible with the DEM to make a Sunshine calculation based on DEM?

Thanks for any help or suggestion.

It's interesting
In High Quality Image Alignment Intel GPU 3D Graph goes up til 75%... so much more than bevore
NVIDIA GPU 3D Graph is still only 2% - there is no CUDA Option. I can change to Compute_0 mode but still not more

It's interesting... in Log Files of Agisoft I see much more Line statig Liading Kerne for Intel HD Graphics 530

It still say Using device: GeForce GTX CUDA
but more often Using device: Intel HD 530

GPU Utiisation was measured by Winodws 10 Advanced Task Manager. Do you have any advice how I can measure this better?

Thanks for helping

Im wondering, why is Agisoft only using 50% of CPU power, 15% of Intel GPU and 3% of NVIDIA GPU? Seems that the machine is absolutely not used to the limits of possible to make calculation faster....

DCK, this is what I use

   1. Import Images
   In Camera Groups

   2. Check Camera Calibration + Rolling Shutter
   Tools > Camera Calibration

   3. Convert GPS coordinates of your geotagged images (WGS84) to match the coordinate system of your ground control poins (GCPs) which will be imported later

   4. Estimate image quality
View -> Photos -> Detailed View -> Menu -> Estimate Image Quality
Disable all images that have an image quality below 0.7

   5. Generate masks (Optional)
if for example, you don't want to include cars or other moving objects. Optional.

   6. Align photos HIGH
   Pair preselection: REFERENCE
   Key point limit: 40,000
   Tie point limit: 4,000
   Adaptive camere model fitting: YES
Note that you do not need to run the image alignment process twice if you follow this workflow.

   7. Import list of Ground Control Points
also include the X/Y/Z accuracy values

   8. Refine GCP
Select single markers & filter fotos

   9. Verify and link markers to images (use FILTER BY MARKERS). Because the acquired images and the markers now have the same coordinate reference system, it should be easy to find and mark your GCPs in your images. Mark each GCP in 3-6 images. That should be sufficient. When finished, press the UPDATE button in the reference pane.

   10. Assuming that you have a sufficient number of high accuracy ground control points, uncheck all images in the reference pane and also uncheck a few GCPs in order to use them as check points instead of control points. This will give you a better measure of the 'real accuracy' of your dataset.

   11. Clean Sparse Point Cloud
   > Model > Gradual Selection
Remove all points with high reprojection error of >1
Remove all points with high reconstruction uncertainty >100

   12. Adjust your bounding box

   13. Optimize camera alignment
   All settings

   14. Build Dense Cloud
   High

HW

Intel Core i7-6700HQ
32 GB DDR4 RAM
64 GB VRAM on SSD
Intel Graphics + NVIDIA GeForce  GTX 960M
UHD Monitor

SW
Latest Agisoft
GeForce Driver 376,54

But still 5 months ago with Agisoft 1.5 I was not able to process. Maybe the powerlines creates difficulties, but it should not affect so much the alignemnt. Also 1 year bevore I was able to scan the smaller part of the powerlines withouth any issues (was only 250 images at that time)

I see on statistics that Agisoft thing there is a low overlapping, wich is not true. Also Agisoft makes a lot of images groups

Overlapping is also really high about 70-80% see image overlap sample from 2 adeacent images

General / Hughe issues to align pictures
« on: March 11, 2021, 07:00:58 PM »
Im wondering why Im having such issues on this project.

I know that scanning forests is not that easy, but I never had any issues before. I made an altitude terrain following scan with about 1500 pictures. But each time I try to alighn, Agisoft is messing it up completely.

I already updated to latest release, but still not lucky. Also the viewport on this new version is really slow. I need always to click on rest viewport to see again where my cameras are.

I tried with low quality, high quality.... nothing works.

Steps:
1. Flight was 2 tracks in about 60m over terrain, terrain following mode activated (terrain has about 300m of altitude differences)
2. All pictures have a quality more than 0,75 and are generated from sharp DNGs.
3. Cameras are calibrated with Rolling shutter
4. Alignment by source, reference, 40k 4k, adaptive yes (now Im trying sequential)

see attachment of source images position. They are perfectly aligned from GPS coordinates before Agisoft touches them

General / Online app to share ortho & marker
« on: June 23, 2020, 03:25:48 PM »
Im wondering if there is any solution to share georef orthomosaics togheter with markers in a simple app like google mymaps or similar.

I need to share some data with clients in a really simple way and cannot find any real good working solution.

Do you have any idea, how do you manage date?

Thanks for helping

General / Export points or DEM within some altitute values
« on: May 19, 2020, 12:19:10 PM »
Good day
Is it possible to export DEM & point clouds between some altitue values, like between 513 & 518m altitude from coordinate system?

Or can the boundary box from the region be set to some values?

General / Inner boundary for lakes
« on: May 18, 2020, 10:47:59 AM »
I have a small lake within a survey area. I used poligon draw in Orthomosaic to shape the lake according to the water line. I know the altitude of the lake.

Now is it possible to modify the altitueds of each polygon plane according to the lake real survey (and not the dense point cloud altitude created by wrong pixels in the lake surface)?

Also is it possible to calculate volumes with a lake inside by defining it as a inner boundary? What happenes with the hole inside. Will it be seen as a cutting plane?

Thanks for help

I see same problems... most projects less than half of the images, mostly in the mid of the entire photogrammetry, are not aligned any more... Bevore more than 90% where aligned...

is there eventually any update in importing this kind of data? It would be great if we could modifiy the DEM with bathymetric informations.
