Quality of Merged Chunks
« on: June 21, 2011, 05:24:35 PM »
Hi there,

Having an issue with the final merged output and its quality. Should there be some sort of dialogue that pops up asking the likes of the detail, poly count and overlap reduction before it does the job?

The final output comes across a little too lacking in detail.  :o

best regards

Hello Mike,

Thank you for this issue. We will take into consideration the possibility of adding quality settings for chunk merging procedure.

Hi Alexey,

do you have any news on this?

I tried merging 3 chunks today and the result of the merged mesh still misses a lot of detail compared to the original meshes.

Best Regards
Jan

I know it's an old post.
But the problem is still not fixed.
The combined cuts, have poor quality fuzzy.
It seriously limits the possibilities of the program.
How it will be repaired, the memory limitations are no longer an issue.
You will be able to build a huge scene

I beg you amend your same functions?
