good build on medium, bad build on high
« on: September 10, 2013, 09:23:04 PM »
I've not ran into this problem before... has anyone else?

I meshed a head with hair, and the back of the head looks fine...

meshed it on high, and the back of the head gets all messed up.

something similar. can share PSZ file without images and any mesh or PCloud ? just the aligement. This can be caused by very high reprojection uncertainity or when the head was moved. you capture data with multicam setup or single cam ? what amount of points are detected ( setting in pscan ) ?

Hello Stranges,

In the Medium quality images are twice as downscaled compared to High quality, so dense cloud is reconstructed based on bigger details, whereas High quality uses lesser details that may look too different from different cameras (thus hair is very problematic for the reconstruction).
