Alembic export

Alembic would be a great export format since it supports pointclouds, meshes and cameras.

cheers,

camera exports for 1.4.0.5650 seem to not have changed? In fact I don't see alembic anywhere.

I have a case with several helicopter runs at a target which results in the "zero resolution" problem but the cameras look really good after being chunk aligned. However without a decent camera output I'll have to start over using something else.

So let me just add that with alembic camera output I would also be expecting to be able to merge all camera in a chunk into one animated camera as well.

Hello rodmac,

Currently Alembic format is available for mesh export/import operations, however, on export it may optionally include the camera positions.

"Zero resolution" usually means that either the bounding box is positioned incorrectly, or there are too few valid matching points inside the box for the overlapping images.
