Fixed camera,turning object workflow.
« on: July 06, 2014, 01:49:13 PM »
I'm newbie and relative new to agisoft workflows.
I wonder if it's possible to place fixed camera and turn the object.
For example, every half degree Y axis, on nice green screen background for easier masking

Is is make sense and valid workflow ?

Yes, although a white or black background may make more sense. Green could give you colour casts in your texture. You would still want to shoot multiple rows at different heights.

And half degree increments are a bit too small. If you have 20  shots 'around'  your object (18 degree increments) it will work fine.  You will need multiple rows like ozbigben said.
