Gpu SLI?
« on: October 14, 2014, 06:26:52 AM »
I'm working with 3 evga 780 sc axt and my computer freezes up when I run then in SLI mode. I was wondering is it better to run it without SLI? What would give me the best performance?

As far as I know the current version of Photoscan doesn't utilize multi GPU's so for stability wise I'd suggest turning it off as the GPU itself barely gets used.

PhotoScan is able to use multiple GPUs installed on the same computer. However, they should be working without SLI as this technology doesn't provide any benefit for processing utilized in PhotoScan.

Recently we've been reported (http://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?topic=2969.msg15659#msg15659) about some problems related with SLI, so at the moment we are investigating the problem and recommend to turn SLI off.
