Export XYZ and RGB data to CSV
« on: June 17, 2015, 02:36:10 AM »
Hi all,

I'm working in Photoscan Pro to build a model and would like to be able to export a CSV file where every point has 6 associated values for the XYZ and RGB data.

I searched the forum here and on google and didn't find any promising results. Has anyone done this before? Could anyone point me in the right direction to get started?

Thank you!

James

the closest i can suggest is to export points in XYZ format and check the 'Point colors' checkbox. That will give you XYZRGB but space separated rather than comma separated values.

You could then probably find some search and replace utility to change all those spaces to commas, and rename the file from .txt to .csv.

**edit - Sorry just noticed this was a python question, I do that a lot...
