First post and it's about an issue I'm having with building the texture on a mesh. Build Texture runs absolutely fine when generating 1 map (e.g. 8096 x 1) but as soon as I switch the settings up to generate lower resolution over more maps (e.g. 2048 x 4 or 4096 x 2) it freezes having processed for a while (usually around the end of Parameterizing Texture Atlas or Blending Texture at 85% depending on whether blending is Generic/Off).
Machine is decent spec (2 x Xeon E5-2650, 128GB RAM) and has no issue generating large single maps (i.e. 16k+) so I don't think RAM is an issue. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Thoughts very much appreciated, cheers
