I was wandering if sooner or later Photoscan will have the possibility to cut a mesh in a sharper and more regular way. In particular, when nowaday I cut a mesh with Photoscan, the program is merely selecting the triangles and deleting them. As a result, the obtained surface looks irregular and fragmented.
In the same context, it would be great to add some tools to edit the model, such as add a planar surface (to recover the critical parts or anyway parts not rebuild correctly), or other 3d primitives. I'm aware that now there are a plenty of other programs achieving these tasks, but adding these features would make Photoscan a very comprehensive tool.
