I can't mask my pictures
« on: December 06, 2017, 05:36:22 PM »
Hi everyone,

I have installed the 1.4.0 pre-install. But after the installation I couldn't mask the pictures as I did before.

Normally I import the masks from the background. But everytime I try to do it now I get the error:
Can't open file: No such file or directory (2): E:/Billeder/objekter/kort original Final Version/tif 2/baggrund_result.

I read on the blog, on the Agisoft Phtoscan homepage, that the 1.4.0 pre-install has a new function called Strict volumetric masking. I have tried to follow the instructions on the blog but it doesn't work either, so at the moment I am not able to mask the pictures at all.

When I try to mask with the Strict volumetric masking I get the error:
BuildModel: surface type = Arbitrary, source data = Depth maps, quality = Medium, depth filtering = Mild, volumetric masking = 1
Error: Null dense cloud
Finished batch processing in 0.006 sec (exit code 1)

Do you have any idea why I can't mask the pictures?

Sincerely,

Malu

Hello Malu,

If you are importing the masks from the files can you please provide the screenshot of the Import Masks dialog with the parameters that you are using?

Also please specify the naming conventions used for the source images and masks.

Hello Malu,

I think that you need to use proper extension of the background image in the Filename template field (like jpg or tif, for example):
Code: [Select]
baggrund_result.jpg
Also note that it's case sensitive, so "TIF" is not equal to "tif".
