Error(pix)
« on: December 11, 2017, 12:08:38 PM »
Hello,
the marker error(m) of my model is ok (0.001-0.01), but error(pix) is very big (30-90). I measured the marker with tachymeter.
Anyone knows the reason?

Hello ugo,

High projection error means that either some of the cameras where the marker projection is present are not properly aligned, or there are some projections that are not placed correctly.

Ok, and how can i know which cameras are not properly aligned?

Hello ugo,

You can open Show Info dialog for the marker with the high projection error and review the photos where the highest errors are being observed.

Hello ugo,

It's better to reset alignment for the incorrectly aligned cameras. Or at least to remove the marker projections from them and disable such images.

One more question. My fotos are from different cameras, is that made the software difficult to align?

Hello ugo,

If the effective resolution and level of detail on the images taken by different cameras is more or less similar, then the alignment shouldn't be an issue.

I used Canon 50d, Nikon d800 and PhaseOne these camera, maybe that is the problem.
