Finding camera position of different 360 shots.
« on: January 19, 2018, 06:06:46 AM »
Hello,

I have a project where I just want to identify the relative camera position from images shot on a tripod in different areas in a room.

At each station ( location ) I shoot 4 images with a fisheye lens to cover the full 360 degree.

Using the software, I grouped images of the same location into stations. When I click on the align, it only aligns the images within the first station only.

Notice that I am not intersted in create any 3d model, All what I want is to recover camera position, and there is overlap between images of the same location, and overlap between different location.

Actually I am not even interested to find the overlap between images in the same station, as I am using an accurate tripod head and it will always result in 90 degree shift with 7 degree angled up.  But I am totally fine with the software doing that too. But Most importantly I want the relationship between different stations.

Thanks in advance,
