Area measure

Hi all

I try to measure the surface of a field that I already know using the following tutorial

 but the area measurement does not give the right result.

Photoscan measures the area and the result is 10608 m2. But, the good result would be rather between 3400 and 3600 m2. The scale of the point cloud is right and when I measure the length and width of the field, the result is 3600m2. 

If anyone has an idea thank you very much.

You are measuring mesh surface and that means the summation of every triangle areas. Create an orthomosaic and measure on gis. Alternatively you can draw a polygon in pscan and export to cad or use its vertex coordinates.
