FLIGHT'S ON DIFFERENT DAYS - NUMBERING PHOTOS
« on: June 13, 2018, 07:19:10 PM »
Hi

I'v done a flight in one day and resume the flight in other day.

On the 1st day it was taken 999 photos numbered from 1 to.....999.

On the 2sd day resuming the flight of the previous day, it was taken 311 photos

On the second day, the photo numbering started  by nº 1.

I create 2 photo folders due this "problem",  avoiding having photos with the same number!

My qiuestion is if its possible to load photos with the same number but with different coordinates?

Many thanks

Álvaro Lopes

Alvaro,

I don't know the answer - but it is the work of just a few seconds with, for example, IrfanView, to rename them with unique numbers and start their names from, for example, 1001

Dave

p.s. you don't need TO SHOUT in the title!  ;)

Hello Álvaro,

As a workaround, you can create two chunks in the single project for each flight, load the coordinate information for each flight individually and then use Merge chunks operation in the Workflow menu.
Also it may be reasonable to create the camera groups in each chunk prior to the merging, so that you can distinguish the photos in the merged block.

I second Dave's recommendation.  I use Irfanview to prepend the flight number to the set of photos, i.e. 1-, 2-, 3-, etc.
