Axis base aligment for diferent model issue
« on: July 18, 2018, 10:35:14 PM »
I explain a bit our experiment(im completly niewbe on 3d modeling)

We use a spherical camera and take diferents diferents photos inside room, then we try to locate cameras positions, we export cameras in PhotoScan.CamerasFormatOPK, and finally we try to display on our system.
(i develop a python script that runs nice)

Camera aligment looks very nice.

Although the aligment and the relative positions of each cameras are correct, the base plane in which each model are generated varies between each model. I have added an image to illustrate the problem.

For example model1 on attachment could be nice, model2 in this case is correct algiment(and relative position nice) but model looks down (inverted on X), model 3 on that case is like we look in frontal.

The solution to the problem can be two:
Force photoscan to create the alignments with the same axis base
Detect in some way how photoscan has generated the model. (then i can swith axis on our system)

My photogramety knowledge is limited.... so I appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks
