Making 3D print of a open pit

Hi Everyone,

I want to make a 3D print of a open mine pit. Since it's a hole and I have little to no experience with 3D models, I work Agisoft exclusively for photogrammetry purposes, I wanted to know how can I close the hole or what the approach would be to make a 3D model of this open mine pit. Is there a way with software like Mesh Lab to make walls and a floor to the model and be able to close it.

Hello Santiago,

I think you should use some external applications to add thickness to your model before sending it to 3d printer.

Current hole filling method in PhotoScan is not so intelligent to form custom shapes below the main mesh.

Some brief search gave me the following instruction for Blender:
