Any plans to add 4D processing to Standard?

I've recently begun experimenting with volumetric video capture & I hadn't realized that 4D modeling wasn't available for Standard edition up until now. 
I downloaded the free trial for Professional & tried it out. The timeline tool massively simplifies my workflow & I was wondering if we could have for the standard edition or with the upcoming Metashape update. I'm sure there would be a great interest in this type of tool being more accessible. 

I'm a student & I'm unable to afford the professional edition. Does the educational edition licenses come with 4D features by any chance? I'd be definitely willing to pay a little extra for this feature in standard.
