Hi Agisoft users,
I've noted that when you create a DEM from a point cloud (using high quality level) there exist a "stair tread" effect (image attached).
I was wondering if anyone know how to correct / eliminate / filter this effect? If is not possible to correct in Agisoft metashape, may be another filter in GIS software?
Thank you in advance

Hello dmcvg,
The problem could be related to the alignment issues or to the image quality, for example, if you are using the images scanned with the excessive resolution.

Thanks for the answer Alexey,
In this case i am working with historical images. I usually use many GCP's (20 for a small region) but i don't have any information about scanning process.
My align doesn't seem to have any mistakes (general precision is around ~0.8m). There is no way to apply a filter to minimize this effect?
Thanks again

I'm curious .... are there any markers that are in that area where the "stair tread" is ?

I am not sure if I understand you that you tried to upload it ?
You just need to hit a browse to find your file to upload it .
You need to screenshot it and then save as a new file with an extension such as jpg, tif or png ...

I tried that, i have my screenshots in jpg format but there is an error when i upload it.
I still working on it.

Do you have Windows 10 ? if so, it has Snip & Sketch tool that can screenshot and ensure you save it as a new file with jpg or jpeg
-
Of course... i used tah tool, but the problem is when i try to upload the image... the agisoft forum generate the follow message:
An Error Has Occurred!
Cannot access attachments upload path!

Did you use the Attach to find the file you save to ?

Hello dmcvg,
Can you go to Post reply page to the full reply form and use "Attach" section from the bottom part of the page, where you need to use "Choose File" button to specify the file you wish to attach?
