Title: Merging top and bottom chunks in the standard version
Post by: Superxiong on March 21, 2020, 07:49:00 PM
Hi all

I desperately need help please. I need to align and merge two chunks, one is a top view of a box, another is a bottom view of the box. They look alright in their respective 3D models (pls see photos). All photos are masked. But they CANNOT be aligned or merged properly.

I am using the standard version so cannot use markers. Could you help please?

Hello Superxiong,

What happens, if you merge both source chunk to the single chunk (with masks applied to all the images) and then run the Align Photos operation for all the images at once using "apply masks to key points" option?

Hi Alexey

Thank you it worked. May I ask why it should be "aligned to key points", not "tile points" - what's the difference?

Thanks.
