Hi
When trying to add more photos to a project that is already aligned - the old points disappear - only those of the newly added photos are present - 1,71

Hello lunar,
I am not observing such problem on some random datasets.
Can you please confirm that initial alignment has been performed with Keep Key Points option enabled in the Advanced Preferences tab and that you are not selecting Reset Current Alignment option in the Align Photos dialog after adding new images to pre-aligned sub-set?
-
in one project everything is ok, this happens after saving and reopening the project

Hello lunar,
Can you please describe the steps, so that I could try to reproduce the issue?
- open new project,
- add images and align photos (with keep key points option enabled),
- save project,
- open new Metashape instance, open previously saved project,
- add new images and run align photos with "reset current alignment" option disabled.
It that correct?
-
Yes, this happens when you open a previously saved project.
Working on one project from the beginning - everything is ok

Hello lunar,
Are there key points in the chunk (you can check it via Workspace pane -> Show Info) after you re-load the project?
-
Hi
I can't repeat it myself this time - I uploaded the beta 1.72
Everything is ok

Hello lunar,
If it happens again in latest Metashape version, please post here the procedure to be followed.
