Title: Batch export orthomosaics
Post by: dries@zeggetis.be on May 15, 2021, 03:30:10 PM
Hi

Is there any way, or script, to export all orthomosaics within a chunk to a folder?

I have 30-ish mosaics made from different cutouts from a church; mosaics from all sides of the arches, facades, buttresses, etc... They are all named correctly. So I would like to export them all, with their name as Jpegs in a single folder. Without having to go through the export screen thirty times.

Any way to do this?

Hello Dries,

Can you please provide the screenshot of the Export Orthomosaic dialog with the desired export settings used to be applied for all the exports?

And is it correct, that the orthomosaic labels should be used as export filenames and there are no duplicates?

Hi Alexey

see attachment,

it's all pretty much defaut settings for every mosaic, the labels should indeed be used as the filenames, there are no duplictas (as seen in the screenshot as well)
They should be saved as .jpeg images

Hello Dries,

Please check if the attached script works as expected.

At first you should use Run Script command in Tools menu - it will add new Custom Menu item. This new item should be called, when you need to export all the orthomosaics from the active chunk. Upon command execution you'll be asked to specify the export directory.
