Really sorry - I know this has been asked before but I don't see a (straight) answer.
So, building a mesh from Dense cloud, surface type: Arbitrary (3d), Face count: High (26 million).
32GB RAM
1080Ti
Version 1.7.5 build 13229
In preferences, GPU is enabled, "Use CPU" is not.
I'm after the best mesh possible so if those settings are not the best choice, please tell me.
Any advice is gratefully appreciated.

And now on medium Face count (8.8 million):
"Not enough memory"

I always found this to be a problem using the dense cloud.
You can export the dense cloud, reduce the number of points in a cloud editor, and then import it back in to MS.
Or use depth maps and dispense with the dense cloud.
I use the latter because the results are superior, it takes less time, and there are no OOM problems.

Hello AndyVirt,
You can try version 1.8 pre-release that uses different mesh generation method for the dense cloud source option and works out-of-core, thus you shouldn't face "not enough memory" problem.

Thanks @cbnewham - changing to depth maps worked and looked OK to me.
Will try 1.8, thanks @Alexey Pasumansky.
