Hi, I am calculating the volume of an aggregate pile and there are three choices, best, mean and custom. I use custom so I can enter in the base height that I determined by taking the elevation from the surrounding area and averaging it out. This is fine for me but after the calc is complete, the results are "above Ground", "Below Ground", and "total. Can someone explain to me how the below ground calc come from? I'm thinking it's the difference from the programs determination of the average ground elevation (in my case the perimeter of the polygon) and my custom elevation but not sure.
