After updating to version 1.0.0 build 1789. I noticed that the mesh gained in sharpness, which is good. But strange artifacts in form of arcs started to appear all around the model which were never there. It causes lots complications in the post processing those scans. As there are thousands of them all over the model. Please see attached images:
-
Another image with lots of them

Hello Alexander,
We are checking this issue. If you can provide any sample dataset that can be used to compare mesh generation results in 0.9.1 and 1.0.0 we will appreciate it.

Hello Alexey,
I will prepare some data later, for now I switched to version 1.0.0 build 1774 where I get nice results.
For now please those two images, same scan processed in two versions.

I can confirm this strange phenomena as well. I just noticed today. On older scans we didn't get these tiny webs and arcs. It makes working on the data in ZBrush very difficult to deal with. It looks like it could be by product of dense point cloud method.
Alexey, I have uploaded some sample data to the FTP.

Hello Alexey,
Do we have this nasty bug fixed, can't update to the newest version if its still there?
Thank you!
-
Hello Alexander,
The fix will come with the next 1.0.0 update.
-
Will be waiting. Thank you!
-
Most excellent!

Hello Alexander and Lee,
We have released the updated version. Please check that the problem no longer exists now. You can use dense clouds generated in the older versions for mesh reconstruction.
