hi everyone,
i am a long time 3d artist user and recently started using the agi software and it really captured my interest, i tried reconstruction of 3d models from high res 2d pictures of actual models and i got some real good results, and i am going to start with my own rig soon.
i hope i can get some suggestions from the experts here, i am planning to to start with 12 cameras:
NikonD3200 (currently discontinued) with a Nikkor 50mm 1.8
or
Canon EOS 100D with a Canon EF 50mm 1.8
both cameras have almost the same price, but the Nikkor lens is more expensive than the canon.
i was also thinking of getting just 4 cameras and ortery 360 system,
have anyone ever tried that? any suggestion will be much appreciated

Canon 100D.

Hi Lee
That's interesting, is there any big reason for that, or just minor differences?

Hi,
Image quality. The best thing to do is run your own tests and experiments to see what works for you.

Edward, any luck on the 4 cameras + ortery 360 set up?
I was considering doing a similar arrangement, but not sure if it would work...
thanks!

İnfinite recommends 80+ well arranged cameras for a good result..
However you can do setup with 50 cameras too.. It depends what result you are expecting.
