Title: Nikon D5300 With GPS
Post by: MitoTheGreek on February 03, 2015, 10:22:34 PM
Anyone using a Nikon D5300 with GPS? I am currently using a Sony Nex-5R with 16.1MP, I am looking to upgrade for under $1000. Any recommendations would be great, and would jumping up to 24MP be a big difference?

First thing I noticed jumping to 21mp was that the point clouds were much cleaner and it was really easy to generate too much data  ;)

Get complete detailed instructions of GPS Setup in Nikon d5300 Manual (https://guideusermanual.com/product-name-d5300-manual&po=4304&lang=English). Here i am showing the quick setup of GPS enabling. Hope this may help you:
Enable the camera's built-in Wi-Fi. Press the MENU button to display the menus, then highlight Wi-Fi in the setup menu and press the multi selector right. Highlight Network connection and press the multi selector right, then highlight Enable and press OK. Wait a few seconds for Wi-Fi to activate.
