Title: Low light capture recommendations
Post by: dtmcnamara on February 24, 2015, 06:56:18 PM
I have a project that I am wanting to tackle where there will be no light, it’s a .25 mile tunnel with graffiti. I am wondering what’s the best way to tackle this sort of project. Should I look into multiple flood lights and try to illuminate once section at a time? Just wondering if anyone else has done similar work and if so how sucessful they were with their process.

Single camera or camera rig?  You could make up a bracket to hold multiple video lights to evenly illuminate the view of the camera so that camera and lights move together. Much easier than trying to illuminate a large space.

It will be 2 cameras. I was thinking about trying to frame the camera so that the flood lamps fill the entire frame and then some in order to try and get consistent lighting through all the pictures.
