Title: bublcam support.
Post by: MeHoo on September 01, 2015, 12:49:21 AM
Spherical 360 stitched cameras are becoming more and more common.  It would be nice to have an option similar to the fisheye option to import these photos.

I admit, I've yet to try this with fisheye, but because of the innacuracies of the stitching, I can't see it working.  It needs to have a sort of tolerance added to the areas of stitching.  PHotoscan would need to know where these are and treat them differently or mask them.

Hello MeHoo,

PhotoScan Pro supports panoramas in equirectangular representation as input images.

I'll test it out tonight, but I just forsee the stitching errors causing problems... and auto-masking of the stitch "zones" would be a nice feature I think.

I'll see how it works tonight.

i already testedPanoramic images  both with ricoh Theta (wich gives only prestitched Images)
and with source file coming from Nikon D800E and 10mm
the result are quite different plus using a nodal camera gives better result
a good spherical camera would be nice in this field IF can give also the raw unstitched footage to obtain the better from both world
