That is quite an old request, but in 1.7.3 version LandXML export format for mesh has been added. If anyone is still using this format, we would be glad to hear the feedback (note that for huge models, exported file will be also quite big).

Pre-release can be checked here:

I am a new Metashape user and a land surveyor. I have not tried your LandXML export, but I use LandXML extensively for file transfers of drone data from Virtual SUrveyor to CAD. I know it is also used for sending design models to machine control units as well. I am sure I will be using it in the future. Glad to see that it is an export option.

Hello txrpls,

If you use LandXML export in your future projects, please share your feedback, whether everything works as exepected.

Note that due to the format structure the exported file could be too big, if the original mesh consists of tens or even hundreds of millions polygons, therefore it may be reasonable to decimate the mesh model via Tools Menu -> Mesh -> Decimate Mesh command to get reasonable polygon count prior to export.

Will do.
