Title: DNG and Underwater images, soultion!
Post by: Mohammed on June 29, 2016, 05:09:00 PM
Hi Alexey,
Thank you for supporting the DNG format in V1.2.5!

I faced an Issue while i make some preprocess of the DNG Photo in adobelightroom with some Underwater photos,
So as you can see in (Snapshot 001) i did some edit in lightroom  to remove the green colors of the photos (snapshoot 002) and after i finished i exported it again as DNG, But the problem is while i send the Edit photos to Photoscan the images back again as i didn't do any editing on them! so whats the problem? (see snapshot 003).
Thanks,,
Mohamed

Hello Mohamed,

Can you please send the original DNG and the one with the edited in Lightroom to support@agisoft.com? Currrently it looks like PhotoScan doesn't use edited profile for DNG.

Hello Mohamed,

Thank you for the samples.

At the moment PhotoScan uses As Shot parameters of DNG file. The adjustments made in Adobe Lightroom as saved in XMP profile in Adobe proprietary format, that cannot be supported at the moment due to the lack of specification.

That's sad!

But there's no XMP file exported with the image!

I also noticed this issue. I don't think this is an issue with exported 16bit TIFF's, but then you end up using a lot more disk space because of the file size. Especially if you keep the DNG and 16bit TIFF versions.

Working with DNG format also does not export 16bit orhtomosaic. :(
