Title: Licence agreement keeps popping up on mac sierra
Post by: bez on August 21, 2017, 01:52:27 PM
Every time I use the computer the license agreement keep popping up over and over again.
I already installed PS and the license and agreed to the terms.

But it keeps popping up every time I open PS and many time even when PS is off and I am just doing other stuff.
This is really annoying, any way to stop this?

Thanks

Hello bez,

Which OS version you are using? Also have you moved PhotoScan Pro application bundle from the DMG archive or are unpacking it each time before the use?

Hey Alexey,

I use Sierra 10.12.5.

I installed the DMG into the application folder the first time (like anyother program I install here)
and placed a shortcut in the doc. i start PS from there.

I use the standard version, not the pro.

thanks

Hello bez,

I suggest to check that you are following proper installation steps:
- download DMG archive from our web-site,
- open DMG (that's the point when you need to accept the license conditions) and move PhotoScan (and Lens if necessary) application bundle to the /Applications/ folder. So do not move DMG itself, just PhotoScan.app from the unpacked DMG archive,
- run PhotoScan application bundle from the /Applications/ directly or using the shortcut.

I know I said "I installed the DMG into the application folder"
but I meant that I installed the app through the DMG into the app folder.

I can see the photoscan.app in the folder as well as the lens.app

I am pretty sure i did not just drag the dmg into the folder and
i installed it correctly, but I will try to reinstall again,
maybe i did something wrong I don't know, I am still a PC user at heart...

Will check itl
thank you

Hello bez,

Let me know, how it works.

The license agreement should appear only when you unpack/install DMG file, not when you run the application itself.
