Title: I need to mesh and texture?

Hello, I'm new with this software, begginning capture images with a UAV and trying to do an ortomosaic with some areas in my farm. As somes has not construction, just land, agriculture, may only align photo, optimze camera, dense clouds and build ortomosaic withou do the mesh and texture?

Hi allygemelli,

Yes, you can generate an orthomosaic without computing a mesh and texture, but you have to built a DEM from the dense point cloud first.

Here is the workflow:
Align photos > Clean/filter sparse point cloud > Optimize cameras > Dense cloud > DEM > Orthomosaic

In order to clean the sparse point cloud (= tie points), go to EDIT > GRADUAL SELECTION and delete points with high reconstruction uncertainty and high reprojection error.
