Title: "Raster transform : Palette" manually configured
Post by: Yoann Courtois on October 26, 2017, 04:04:39 PM
Hi !

Would it be possible to allowed a manual configuration for the palette color of DEM ?
At least it would be nice to be able to set the minimum (blue) and the maximum (red) value. Afterward other kind of settings could be considered, such as those which are available in 3DReshaper.

Indeed we would like to make the most of this visualization for flat platform accurate leveling, but for the moment we have to spend a lot of time to accurately manually classify points in a small range of altitude so that the color scale in the smallest possible.

Regards

In the version 1.4.0 build 5532 it is now possible to define the custom palette for DEM in the Preferences -> Appearance - Ortho tab.

Note that currently it is stretched for the min, max elevation interval.

Nice ! Thanks Alexey and all Agisoft team.

Do you have any idea of the release date of 1.4 stable version ?

Hello Yoann,

I think it would be released in a few weeks (2-4 approximately).

Good news !

I've just tested the new tool. Very nice to be able to get a sharp and very detailed DEM colors.
But I've seen that the palette thresholds have to be defined between 0 and 1, which represent the minimum and maximum altitude of the used point cloud.

Would it be possible to directly set altitude values in the preference panel, so that we could easily create a key when exported ?
