Hello, i would like to know if a 18mm lens on full frame is fine for photogrammatry?
I think there are deformation but is it working well?
I would like to use it inside and outside and also on drone.
I have the Sony A7R II.
Thank you

Concering that the A7r II has a integrated Picture Stabilisation, i would not recommend using it for Computer-Vision-Calculations.

This sensor stabilization can affect the result in photogrammetry? How?

Hi Julien999,
Built-in lens or sensor image stabilization can change interior camera geometry and alter interior orientation values between consecutive images when Photoscan might expect the same parameters. This in theory decreases the potentially achievable accuracy.

I've carried out PG with a 17mm lens. The results are ok, but I wouldn't recommend it. Normally I use a 28mm lens (that is in the 35mm world) - either on a micro-4/3 camera or FF 35mm.

Do you think it's better to use a 24mm than 18mm?
