Title: Where did Edit | Gradual Selection Go? PS version 1.4.0 (Build 5650)
Post by: RnFstMapper on January 19, 2018, 08:17:09 PM
Just upgraded to Photoscan Professional 1.4.0 build 5650 (Windows 64bit).  I don't see the Gradual Selection tool under the Edit menu.  What happened and where did it go?  Thanks

Hello RnFstMapper,

Since this action is related to the Model view only, you can find the Gradual Selection in the Model Menu.

Alexey,   I built a mesh and activated it in the view, the Gradual Selection tool is still absent from the Edit menu.  In previous versions the Gradual Selection tool was available for both the sparse point and model views with different selection parameters available for each.  I use the sparse point cloud gradual selection feature extensively in refining my initial alignment for image orthorectification and model export to Summit Evolution. Hello RnFstMapper,

In the version 1.4.0 the Gradual Selection function is available from the Model Menu:

Model Menu is related to the operations available in the Model view mode (don't confuse it with mesh display option), in the Ortho Menu - the actions related to the Ortho view mode, and in the Photo Menu - the features related to the Photo view mode.

Edit menu now contains some general features that are applicable to any view (some features of the Edit menu may change depending on the active view mode).
