Title: Remove GPS information
Post by: William Ringle on May 27, 2018, 06:04:42 PM
Apologies if I have missed a previous post. I wonder if there is a way to ignore the GPS EXIF data in Photoscan without resorting to Python. I have a set of drone photos I collected, the initial few of which have 0s for coordinates, but are otherwise fine. As a result the model produced is aberrant.  I don't need the GPS locations but would like to use all my photos.

Thanks!

Right click on the camera in question in the Reference Pane, then click "Uncheck". I my self also had difficulties with the same option.

Hello William,

To remove the reference information completely, you can use Clear option in the Reference pane context menu for the selected cameras.

Hello wyk,

Do you mean to modify the original images? For that purposes you may need to use Convert Images option from the File menu after clearing up the coordinate information in the Reference pane for the images.
