Agisoft Viewer / Re: Agisoft Viewer
« on: May 12, 2023, 02:49:34 PM »
Dear Alexey,
It is not working. Am I making some mistake? The Viewer version is 2.0.1.  build 16069.

Best,
Darko

Dear friends,
It would be nice to have the ability to rotate the view while in drawing mode. Something like Ctrl  + Pick for view rotation.

Best regards,
Darko

Hi,
As I mentioned in my other post about the Viewer, I am really happy with it. The only problem that I have is that I don't know how to rotate the view while in the vectorization tool, point, line or polygon. This is important feature since the polygon goes around the building and cannot be done in one view.

Agisoft Viewer / Re: Viewer vector layer Export
« on: April 04, 2023, 12:09:09 PM »
Ok.. My mistake, I haven't noticed that there is SAVE LAYER option when right button is pressed when pointed to the VECTOR LAYER. So, there is Save as DXF option that works great. It opens the possibility to use the Viewer as a nice light 3D model vectorization tool. I have checked the overlap of the points vectorized in the Viewer with the Orthophoto and it fits perfectly.
GOOD JOB... ,
Thank's a lot.

Is it possible to rotate the viewpoint while in the drawing mode in the Viever program?

General / Re: Multi Camera Aligment

Sorry Paulo,

I am not sure that I am allowed to share it just like that. Times are changing.
The project finished in two separate chunks merged just before making DEM and ORTHO. Results are OK althgough a bit complicated procedure.

Thanks anyway and what else can I wish to you and all the good people,

Yes.. Both are triggered by the flight controller at the same moment.

General / Multi Camera Aligment
« on: March 11, 2022, 04:33:26 PM »
Hi Guys,
I have the multicam rig with two same cameras (A6000+25mm). The master is Nadir while the Slave is 6cm behind and 2cm lower from the master position and aiming right 20deg and  20deg front from the nadir direction. My GNSS antenna was 1.04m above, 0.85m behind and 0.88m to the left from the master camera center. So my GNSS offset was X=-0.88, Y=-0.85 and Z=+1.04 from the master camera while the slave offset was X=0, Y=-0.06, Z=-0.02. Is it so?

I have tried the aligment and the result was with the errors of aprox 3m. Than I have used 2 chunks, first with Nadir camera and offsets for Master, reuslting in the precision measured in mm. The same I got for the second chunck for the oblique camera and offset recalculated to the center of Slave, X=-0.88, Y=-0.79 and Z=+1.06. Perfect aligment with separate chunks and chatastrofic when working with multicam.

Where is the mistake?

Hi,
I've been using this setup for a long time on my hexa drone. It is perfect lens. You should choose FRAME camera. it is not Fisheye lens. The only thing you should touch in the Camera Calibration is "Rolling Shutter" option that has to be checked. Just leave the rest to Agi to calculate it by itself.
When shooting choose the Manual setup and set it up to Auto ASA with the Exposure set up to 1/1000 and in summer time close the aperture to 5.6 and you'll get the best out of it. In the winter time when light is not that bright you can open it more up to it's widest opening. In that case you'll get some blurry corners but otherwise the picture will be perfect.
Good luck with your Wingtra!!

Thanks JMR. It's working this way. So far, it seems fine. Do you have experience with this type of cameras?
Best,

General / Rigid Multi Camera Workflow
« on: August 03, 2021, 01:12:17 PM »
Hello,

Recently we have bought FOXTECH 3DM V3 Oblique Camera. That is the rig that consists of five cameras. One nadir and 4 oblique at 45 degrees. The nadir camera has 25mm lens while oblique cameras have 35mm lens. The rig is so small that the position shift for each camera is negligible. All the cameras are triggered at the same time and the photos have the same name. Since each has it's own SD card there is no confusion and it's been organized on my HD in 5 separate folders with the same name for each photo group that's been taken from the same position. My drone is equipped with the PPK GNSS so I have the position for each group of 5 photos with the same name but different folder.

What should I do next, how to load those photos with the same names? How to align it? Can someone give me the idea what's the workflow for such a system, please.

Best regards,
Darko

Agisoft Viewer / Re: Measurement in VIEWER
« on: April 07, 2021, 10:35:13 AM »
 8) Thanks Aleksey,
You've done some serious job with the Viewer. Separate installation is here as well. You've been listening to us, great.
Can you provide some manual for it, please. I have tried to vectorize couple of lines but don't know how to rotate the view while in the Draw mode. Also, as I see my models are below the ground level of the base map, how can I correct it? I might know the reason since my geoid datum is about 42 meters below the ellipsoid but how to correct it? There is also the question of the 3D stereo view? In this version I cannot use the Vertical split and set my monitor/TV to 3D side by side view as I used earlier and it was working fine with my polarized glasses. I used to make presentations with it for the audience since I have 12 pairs of those glasses.
Thumbs UP.. Thank's again on your effort.

General / POWERTOWER reconstruction after Detect POWERLINES
« on: February 17, 2021, 07:43:53 PM »
:) . GREAT FEATURE. That feature can truly replace powerlines lidear scan. Much better since the result is pure 3D vector. The next problem is the power tower that is way too hollow for the proper 3d reconstruction. I have tried to get the dense point cloud from the really dense aero set of photos but the results were very poor dense cloud. No way to draw that tower from that data. I have tried to compare the point cloud taken by lidar scan and it was much denser. The photos were taken with 2cm ground resolution with the 85% overlap and the dense cloud was done by the ULTRA HIGH setup and disabled depth filtering.
Any idea ??
