I second that!! Something similar to the SOR-filtre and the subsampling modes in CloudCompare would be fantastic!

Thanks for your post about using a Ring flash when taking photos for photogrammetry. I was wondering if you could describe your setup in a little bit more detail?I'll share my answer here in case someone else want's to know:
I see you are using the Godox AR400 and a 20mm lens. After some digging on your SketchFab site I think I saw you were using the Nikon D610? Lastly, the cross polarzing technique you are using. Did you buy some linear polarizing film to place over the ring flash, and you were able to cut it to fit?
Thanks a lot for your post, it is encouraging to setup and I just want to make sure I got all the details to try my hand at it.
...I find my main limit to be available RAM. Many of the x99x-boards have 8 memory slots and will support up to 128GB. I would go with the 5930K and 16GB RAM chips - if they are available soon, so that i could upgrade if needed. I guess Photoscan will benefit from the faster memory-speeds also.
In the meantime intel released its new Haswell-E processors.
...
With the cheaper 5930K i could stick with 64GB, maybe even get a better gpu as before.
what would you suggest?
The project is an interior with a local coordinate system. I thought the referencing was ok. I never really paid much attention to referencing, as I've used markers for scaling and external software for orientation - never understood how to work the referencing for my close range scenarios in Photoscan. I guess how to use the viewer will be explained in upcoming manuals - and what its intended to do.Hello hengefjes,Here's the console output:
And what is the output in the Console pane related to the tile export? In the export tiles dialog you need to specify export resolution, so the model should be properly referenced to fit these units.

And what about the export settings and model referencing?

Hello hengefjes,"Export tiles" lets me choose some options for the export. -> Enter name and location -> A box which says "Processing in progress" shows briefly - then it just says: "Can't export model". Dense point cloud in active chunk is there, - not missing. - Will check out that panorama tutorial
OC3 export works only for dense point cloud. Tile export is also based on dense point cloud and would not work if it is missing in the active chunk.
