is there a tutorial for this?

if you already have the 28-135 there is no need to buy the prime 35mm for your tests, as you are anyway going to use a small aperture (f8-f11) to maximize depth of field. The sharpness advantage of primes diminishes as you close down the aperture. A prime also has less distortions which would lead to a better reconstruction but what you have is a good start

You'll just have to make sure you dont change focal lengths between shots.

Also considering the 1.6 crop factor you could also use the lower end of your zoom range (easier to check that you have a fixed focal lenghth for all shots for uniformity), as 28x1.6=~45mm

thanks Leo for both answers, i'll wait for your valuable feedback.

do u also know if its going to be cmy or cmyk? (even though apart from the lack of fine detail, the sample pic is very contrasty and indicates cmyk) ty

cubejet is going to be powder based or plastic like 4500?

taking into account the general direction of this thread, i hope what i'm about to ask is not too offtopic. i own a projet 660 and i want to investigate on compatible consumables/infiltrants. has anyone used any with success (no problems, no clogs, no color issues)? is there a link or other info u can share? through pm if necessary? thanks!

i think this iso6400 on such a dense dx sensor is killing you... there are NR algorithms kicking in even in RAW, smoothing out micro details. Add all this grain to that and i think it's obvious that you'll get worse results. u need more light...

can u explain why this is needed? the background is almost white without any information.why cant PS use only the box data? if there was a pattern instead of plain white, would it be better or worse? in in case of the same white background, wouldnt there be the same problem even without the turntable?
