Hello,
Unfortunately, There are always ghost triangles. Each time on different places.

First two images are from textures generated using normal map and source- the non decimated model. As it's described here:

The last one is diffuse map with Generic Mapping mode and source data - Images

Yes, I use 1.8.4.
Unfortunately there is again ghost triangles, even when I follow this tutorial:

Same model, same steps, one use 32 textures x 4096px, the other 8 textures x 8192px. And on the second one, I see ghost triangles that are missing in the first model.
Now I'm building on the decimated model Texture (8 x 8192px) for diffuse map with Generic Mapping mode and source data - Images.

Edit:
I think it worked just to mention that on 4. I need to choose "generate the Diffuse map from Images and select Keep UV mapping mode" and to check "Enable hole filling"

General / Ghosting issue in textures

Hello,
I have black holes only in the texture. They are on different places, depending on number of faces and depending on  texture size and counts. Sometimes it's better to have more texture blocks sometimes it's the opposite.
It's a large model of 500m faces. Decimated to 3.5 million and 1 million faces. And I use 4096 x 32 or 4096 x 16 texture blocks.
There are also some ghost textures.

Hello,
I'm trying to mask the sky because there are clouds which, as I suppose, cause bad alignment.
But TIF files with alpha mask produced absolutely wrong (flat) result.

Yes, I shot the bench from its level, not underside. But  it's visible that it's not flat a object. I supposed that interpolation will fill this area anyway.

I've tried with interpolation disabled and dense point cloud at a higher setting, but it gets worse.

I've never used more than one chunk and I have to look into some tutorial with chunks

Hello,
I'm a newbie for Photoscan. I've searched, but I didn't find answer of my question.

I used default option and I tried different settings, but after building the mesh some good areas of dense cloud disappeared.
In my examples - part of the bench.

What could cause that?
