General / Re: Force agisoft to use photos?

If you go to Tools > Camera Calibration .. Do all of the images in the image panel give the exact same resolution; 4896x3264?

Or are there ones in there that are switched as you mentioned?

All of the images in the image panel give the exact same resolution of 4896x3264.

I believe I spoke too soon - the image being rotated is true for some of the images, but not all of them.
I've uploaded two images, the first one was aligned properly, the second one was not.  They both have the same orientation, and were taken 1 second apart.  I still don't know why a number of the images are not aligning...

I think I identified why those photos didn't align... for some reason, the camera switched the "Width" and "Height" dimensions.

The vast majority of the pictures are 4896x3264, whereas the pictures that did not align are 3264x4896...

I attached a down-scaled sample of one of the pictures that did not align.

Is there any way to still use the pictures?

General / Force agisoft to use photos?
« on: September 04, 2016, 02:05:35 AM »
I noticed there are quite a few photos that our UAV took that were ignored it seems.

I've attached a picture of an area that shows quite a few "dots" where there was a photo taken, but the image was not used during generation of the tie points and subsequent processes.

Is there any way to figure out why this is the case? Can I force agisoft to use the images?

Thanks.

I sent you an email with a download link for the project as requested.

Bug Reports / Simplify Contours not working
« on: June 23, 2016, 11:20:46 PM »
This is the error I'm getting when I toggle the "Simplify Contours" option on, and all other settings at default:

"Edge wasn't removed from DCEL scanline - was not found!"

I tried with two different projects, and got the same error message. Any ideas?

I've always used Mosaic for blending mode.

General / orthomosaic coloration problems

I'm having odd coloration when creating an orthomosaic. I've attached an example. I've tried running the process with both color correction turned on and turned off.

When color correction is off, the orthomosaic comes out extremely bright, when color correction is ON, I get the result as shown below - not too bright, but very inconsistent brightness and coloration.

I'm not too sure - I used default settings for texture which appears to be 4096.

I'm having the same problem... not sure what the issue is. I can see the textured model in Agisoft, but after it's uploaded to sketchfab there's no texture.

The model is "low" quality (1.3 million faces).

I've used the QGIS plugin called Qgis2threejs to help display data to customers.  The output is an html file that can be hosted on a website which is very convenient as well.  The plugin lowers the quality of the DEM and orthophoto quite a bit, but you can control what it does to a certain extent.

That made a world of difference, thanks for the suggestion.

« on: November 24, 2015, 06:57:10 PM »
I seem to keep running out of memory when trying to producing a mesh. I've shown the error that is displayed.

I was wondering if I'm running out of virtual memory so I've also included a picture of the amount of hard drive space being used by virtual memory.

Would having insufficient hard drive space cause this error? I have over 120 GB free (out of a 250 GB SSD drive) which seems like it should be enough.

These are the setttings used when trying to create the mesh:

General
Surface type: Arbitrary
Source data: Dense cloud
Face count: Medium (4,046,404)

Advanced
Interpolation: Enabled (default)
Point classes: All

General / Error when producing mesh

I have no idea what this means, but I'm getting an error when I try to produce a mesh (it pops up around 30 percent into the process).

It's a large project, the dense cloud is ~60 million points, but I'm just trying to build a low quality mesh.

Any ideas?

The images were all taken on the same day and they appear fine if you view them individually. Photoscan is somehow making them brighter. If you look at the edges of the orthomosaic, the terrain looks closer to it's natural color and brightness.

I'm running it with color correction turned on, and will see how it turns out.

Just wondering if anyone would know why the orthomosaic created by photoscan is overly bright?

I basically just created it with the default settings, and it's just extremely bright as you can see beside the settings window.
