General / Calibrate cameras

Dear all,  I am a beginner for this softaware.  I have a questions, I have hundreds of geotagged pictures with latlong and camera setting info such as focal length, f-stop, and ISO. When I added the images, this info appear in the photo panes automatically, including the lat/long.  Do I have still need to calibrate the camera? or can I just go with importing EXIF files and do alignment?  Thank you.
