I get this error when generating a mesh

2016-05-11 06:41:06 Error: bad allocation
2016-05-11 06:41:06 Finished processing in 635.662 sec (exit code 1)
2016-05-11 06:41:06 Error: Operation not applicable

Whats wrong?

Ok, I will try that. Is that your answering that e-mail?

But what do you think of the error results? Too high?

Yes, but only on the 6th decimal.
. I am not sure what to do, or how to read/understand the information I get from the table of errors. But normally the numbers are 10 times smaller. I am just worried that the precision is not OK. I need this project to be really precise because the client have to avoid drilling in to some tubes in the concrete.

Hello fellow geeks end experts,

I have just finished a drone flight with an altitude of 11 m.
I have finished placing the markers in Agisoft Photoscan and have just optimized the cameras. When I look at the errors, I get higher error values than I am use to (see attached). Is this a problem? I assumed the errors to be lower when I fly so low.
The GCP have been measured with high precision by a surveyer.

Hope that someone can help me :-D

Hi Alexey,

I cant find the GCP in the second flight, but couldnt i just leave the markers as grey flags in the new pictures?

Hi Alexey,

Thanks for your reply. There is an overlap of 60-70 % at ground level. I think the problem is the complexity of the tree structures and the height of the trees. The trees is maybe 20 m heigh so the actual flying height above the trees is 50-20 = 30 m.

I have now flown the project again in 80 m height. The alignment is much better now. The problem is that i didnt places any GCP on the second flight. Is it possible to use the pictures from the first flight (with GCP) combindes with the second flight (without GCP)?

Hi,

I have done a flight in an area with a lot of forrest. The problem is that Aigisoft Photoscan cant align the photos in the areas with many trees (see the attached file).
What do I do?
Can I do some manual aligning pointing put control points?

General / Place Markers

I am placing markers at my ground control point. I have filtered my photos by marker. The problem is as follows:
In some of the pictures the ground controls points is covered up by trees or constructions. How do I disable or ignore the GCP  in the picture but without ignoring the actual picture. I would still like to use the picture in the photogrammetric calculation, just with out including the GCP.

Bug Reports / Errors and precision

In my error repport i suddenly have some high value errors in my GCP 1115-1121.  How big a problem is this regarding the overall precision of the project?

General / Geotagging
« on: December 22, 2015, 05:28:07 PM »
I have deleted the pictures taken when taking off and landing before I started geotagging from my logfiles.
Now I have a big problem aligning my pictures with the logfile. I know I can manually drag the time slider, but Im not sure where to drag it to. My camera and Aibots clock was not perfectly syncronized either. Any tricks to align the logfile with my pictures?

What do you mean extend the bounding box?

Do i just have to manually resize the region a little bit bigger?
Yehaaaa.... I seemed to work just resizing a little bit! THANKS A LOT!!!!

Bug Reports / Error when exporting points
« on: December 22, 2015, 11:22:21 AM »
Hi,
I have a problem when trying to export my project as an LAS or E57 file. The following error occurs: 'Can't write file'.

I have plenty of space on my different drives. I have tried to export to C drive and other drives.
I have tried to erase bigger parts of my project, and then suddenly it works. When I then try to find the exact part of the project that generates the error by erasing small parts a the time, it still doesnt work.

I have to hand in the project to the client to day!  :-[

My project has 3 other chunks that works just fine!
PLEASE HEEEEELP !  :-\
