I've generated a dense cloud of around 60 millions of points.
I need to work the cloud on autocad.
Is the suggested workflow to export the cloud to recap as PTS or LAS, then export an RCP to attach in autocad?
The dense cloud can be even generated at a lower quality, considering the finality of the job.

General / No gcp. but Disto Laser Leica

We need to survey on a square area of 2 kilometers side, 30 small spot areas surveyed by drone.
Each area is 50 to 100 or 200 meters side.
The client does not want too accurate survey at this stage and therefore no gcp gps. He asked me if using measurements taken on site with Disto Laser Leica, can allow us to have higher accuracy, although not very high.
For now, the purpose is to calculate the approximate volumetries of the various buildings in these 30 areas.
On metashape can we use, for example, a couple of measurements for each of the 30 areas and then scale the cloud based on all 60 measurements?
Or advise how you can do that.

I already have a lot of experience in photogrammetry and 3d rendering.
A client asked me something unique for my experience.
He wish to transform a real moving subject (a singer) into an animated 3d model, to be imported into a virtual environment where the fans with virtual devices like Oculus, can go near the artist while singing.
I have already pro equipment like greenscreen, cameras and camcorders, but I have no idea how to detect the moving subject in 3d point cloud and than animated geometry.

i've solved in photoshop...thank you
now i have 2 new issue with orthophoto background and ortho generation
1: why that "artistic" background around the building? i've tested all orthogeneration option but no one can solve it.
2. why in ortho i see that wall but i've deleted it from dense cloud?back wall and door are hidden!

i get error! lost all the project!
before this error i have imported some markers (exported from the same project but in another remote machine)
How can i solve?

How tofix this orthomosaic issue? It's a iron artistic balcony but texture it's took from many photo so the result it's too "mosaicized"
and finally, any advice on which features switch on for orthomosaic computation?

I've a big problem with altitude
- gps real take off altitude 23m asl
- mission altitude 60m
- image z altitude -13m

Script you have talked about many times doesn't work.
changing altitude from images options doesn work
how i can solve!!
please it's very urgent!

The problem is client will use autocad to do all measures and comparisons.
Can be a good idea to export from MS in 3dsmax and create a new building overlapped to 3d survey model?
It seems that an intermediate step is necessary to go from cloud to cad
I need a super accurate accurate model that respect real survey spatial dimensions.
Which can be best workflow?

Hi all!
My client want to compare a 3d dwg of a project with the current building state.
So he asked me to do a building drone survey to generate a 3d that he will import in cad to compare as said.
I've told him that is impossible to import on the fly the model. becouse of million of polygons
Where is the solution? How i can edit the 3d to export a cad version? obviously mantaining as much as possible the exterior shape
I have to remodel from scratch in 3dsmax??
