Hi Alexey and vladal:

Any update on this?

We are experiencing the same problem with our new MicaSense RedEdge-P Dual data while using Metashape 2.0.4 Pro on Windows.

We use Workflow > Add Folder and point to a folder containing two sub-folders "Red" and "Blue. Both folders contain "SYNC0000SET".

The Red folder contains SYNC0000SET > 000 > IMG_###_1-6.tif. Only the Red folder contains the Panchromatic band. The Blue folder contains SYNC0000SET > 000 > IMG_###_7-11.tif without a Panchromatic band.

We are happy to provide data if needed.

*** Note ***

We have a little concern over the RedEdge-P Dual setup we received that was different from our existing RedEdge MX Duals.

Our observations and one change:

• Both Red and Blue cameras have WiFi USB Dongles installed
• This might be because the WiFi Dongle is now on the side sandwiched between the Red and Blue cameras so it can not be easily removed and inserted
• Both Red and Blue cameras were set to "main"
• We changed the Blue camera to "auxiliary" to match the MX Dual configuration and this MicaSense page:

• After the latest firmware update, the DLS2 on our MX Dual is version 1.3(?) and the RedEdge-P Dual DLS2 is 1.2(?)

General / Trouble Activating Metashape this Morning?

Agisoft Community:

This morning when trying to activate Metashape with either 30-day trial or a demo license provided, we are receiving "Unexpected error occurred."

We are hosting a class this morning and I have several people around the US (five so far) receiving the same error.

Did you find a solution for this?

We very much would like an easy UI for exporting the covariance values also.

I did find Alexey posted a code snippet which accesses these values with Python. I currently don't have time or brain power to pursue this:

I will give this a bump also.

We very much would like the option to export the Point Cloud Variance values to a raster. This was also asked for in this post:

Is it possible to access and save this information via the Python API? I don't know this well at all but I did find:

class Metashape.PointCloud     (Sparse point cloud instance)
   class PointCloud.Point
      cov
          Point coordinates covariance matrix.
            Type matrix

Very helpful information we would like to include in our reporting.

Sorry for my ignorance ... can you clarify where / how the Confidence values are stored in the exported LAS file?

Is it Intensity?

If yes, can you describe how the Intensity values are calculated? These values don't related at all to the scale legend I see in Metashape.

Attached are two JPG screen shots of Metashape displaying Dense Cloud Confidence and Global Mapper displaying Intensity. It looks close but not close enough for me to understand.
