Bug Reports / Re: Can not display already generated part of project
« on: July 17, 2018, 06:28:23 PM »
I've got  3 chunk in this project, and I don't have the same active chunk:
the bug appears for the 3 chunks, even if I switch between the 3 chunks.

The 3 chunks correspond to differents parts of a wall (same coordinates I think?! and there is meany identically photos),

An other precision: I export my dense cloud in .ply and open it in meshlab. There is no problem, my project appears!

So why does it desappear in photoscan?

hello,

The first time I comput my project, it appears. I saved it. But when I re open it....it is not visible.
There is no error message in the console. The number of points appears, everything in normal.....but no dense cloud visible....

I send you a screen shot.

(my config: i7, 32 Go ram, 2x nvidia 970)

hello,

Aïe...my graphic card could be too old?

I will try with 12 or 13000 pixel size, on biger project.

But, should I use 1 atlas everytime?

thank you

hello,

thanks for these precisions!
I've computed again with these parameters.
I saved, close, open, re-closed, re-open, and it works
(see in attached file)...

So what is the problem?

thank you very much

Hello,

My graphic card's drivers are already updates (in attached files).
When I check or uncheck the "Enable VBO", there are no changes on texture.

When you say to "check the smaller texture atlas, 10k*10k", does it mean: to modify "Texture size/count" in the "build texture" step?
(see in attached file).

thanks for your help

Bug Reports / Black texture

Hi,

I have a very annoying texture problem. Maybe a visualization issue ?

After building texture without any computation errors, the result shows a complete black surface.

How to reproduce:

Use photos from your sample data named "Monument" (32 images) and perform the following actions:

- Import photos -> OK
- Align photo (accuracy: medium, pair selection disabled) -> OK
- Build dense cloude (quality: medium, agressive filtering) -> OK
- Build mesh (arbitrary surface type, medium face count) -> OK
- Build texture (generic mapping, mosaic mode) -> OK (most of the times*)
- Save project -> OK
- Close and open project again -> OK
- Result: all is black...

* Note: Sometimes (seems randomly), the build texture step shows directly a black surface.

Configuration:

Processor: Intel® CoreT i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz × 8
Memory: 16 Go
Graphic card: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series
OS: Ubuntu 15.10 (64 bit)
Photoscan: 1.2.3

You will find in attachments all detailed informations (console log, system information and resulting screenshots).

Thanks for your support.
