Bug Reports / Re: Assertion "3478972301441" failed at line 720
« on: January 06, 2023, 08:02:13 PM »
Just a quick update, I have no explanation for why this worked, but! Originally, I had aligned my photos, then used gradual selection to use the 'Reconstruction Uncertainty' function. I had then used the Optimise camera alignment, with all but k4 checked. This is when I tried to create a dense cloud and ran into the above error.

I did an extra 'align photos', then followed with build point cloud, and now it's working! So I'm not sure why but hope it helps someone.

Hello! I'm using Agisoft Metashape 2.0.0 and have now run into the Assertion failed at line error when trying to build a dense point cloud. I've checked and my GPU drivers are all up to date? Log attached. Thank you in advance!

General / Unable to open .psz file in 1.1.6
« on: April 19, 2016, 01:06:54 PM »
I am a PhD student attempting to use Photoscan in my research. At my institution, we have both the Professional version and the Educational version available to us. There are far fewer Professional licenses and access to those are limited. I have attempted to save my projects in both the .psz and .psx file types so that I can work with my dataset even if the Professional version is unavailable at that time.

I have recently run into the issue that the Professional version has been updated to the 1.2.0 version of Agisoft Photoscan, while the Educational versions have not been upgraded past version 1.1.6. I cannot personally upgrade these versions because I do not have admin rights. For some reason, even though I saved the 1.2.0 version in .psz, the Educational version cannot open the file made in the newer version of Agisoft Photoscan.

I noticed in a previous thread (which I cannot find now) that this is a known issue. Is there another way around this? As mentioned above, I can't upgrade the Educational licenses myself or I'm sure this would not be a problem.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer! Let me know if I should clarify anything!
