General / Export Points in a local coordinate system
« on: July 09, 2018, 11:25:09 AM »
Hello,

maybe its a stupid question and/or I am currently to foolish to get it. How can I export a point cloud to local coordinate system (like at the screenshot from mesh export)?

I can't find this point in the Coordinate Selection.

Current Coordinate System is ETRS89/UTM Zone 32N (from GCPs)

Thanks for your help in advance!

Thomas

Thank you vermy much for the feedback and help Alexey!

I currently try to build a Mesh on a Medium Point Cloud.

How can I use/test the new mesh generation?

Hello,

I need to Mesh a Point Cloud (Setting: High) from 364 Images (JPEG from 42mpix Sony) with 309.635.252 points and I always stops after around 6% with the massage "Index Overflow". I tried to process the Mesh in High, Medium, Low and Custom (3.000.000 Polys) on different Machines.

The last try was on a Machine with 2 GPUs and 244GB RAM in "Medium Quality).

I could not find a problem and the RAM schould be enough (max. 50% of the 244 GB RAM have been used).

Where could be the problem? What should I do to mesh this Point Cloud?

Kind Regards,
Thomas

Hello,

i tried the Point Import several times. It always stops/crashes at 69% at the Step "Calculating normals". I tried .e57 and .las with Point Clouds over 4GB.

Are the PCs too big?
Could there be a problem on my side or is there a bug?

Kind Regards,
Thomas

Ok, I will send it via E-Mail later today! I also have another project with the same Issue without GCPs which I can post here.

The Coordinates are separated and in the correct direction Easting/Northing and height as well as format (decimal).

Hello,

I am new here  in the Forum and I am testing Agisoft with collegues since a while. Now I purchased the pro Version last month and started working with it.

I currently have the problem that my point cloud is processed upside down / 180° twisted.  I used 10 GCP markers, 2 check points and no GPS Data from the drone. The pointcloud looks good and currect when I turn it around, but the DEM I need to process is also upside down and I am not able to process an Orthomosaic -> The output is an almost plane white TIFF file.

Can you please help me on this? I read a lot about this here and I also tested 2 python scrips but I did not get the correct DEM or Orthomosaic and the processing time is like 100 times longer than usal.

Many Thanks in advance!
