General / Axis base aligment for diferent model issue
« on: July 18, 2018, 10:35:14 PM »
I explain a bit our experiment(im completly niewbe on 3d modeling)

We use a spherical camera and take diferents diferents photos inside room, then we try to locate cameras positions, we export cameras in PhotoScan.CamerasFormatOPK, and finally we try to display on our system.
(i develop a python script that runs nice)

Camera aligment looks very nice.

Although the aligment and the relative positions of each cameras are correct, the base plane in which each model are generated varies between each model. I have added an image to illustrate the problem.

For example model1 on attachment could be nice, model2 in this case is correct algiment(and relative position nice) but model looks down (inverted on X), model 3 on that case is like we look in frontal.

The solution to the problem can be two:
Force photoscan to create the alignments with the same axis base
Detect in some way how photoscan has generated the model. (then i can swith axis on our system)

My photogramety knowledge is limited.... so I appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks

General / Re: understanding camera position and rotation on xml

Thanks Alexey

As you said we finally got for exporting the omega phi kappa file(works fine)

we're moving on to the experiment. (see attached images). After that we try to export or camera aligments to threejs. The problem we're encountering is that we need a constant coordinate system. But in every model is different, is there a way to fix it in agisoft?

General / invers axis?

Hello, im using agisoft to export data into website using threejs.

then i can mach correctly by exporting omega.txt cameras locations, the problem is on second model fits on inverse x axis, the qüestion is how can detect this issue?

General / understanding camera position and rotation on xml

I'm thinking about buying the professional license, it seems that Agisoft is a very good software, but I need help in my experiment.

1.-Upload equirectangular photos (calibration->Spherical camera)
2.-Align Photos (they seem to line up correctly)
3.-Build Dense Cloud
4.-Build Mesh
5.-Build Textures
6.-Export Cameras

So far, so good,
It is necessary to obtain the position and rotation of each camera. But I don't quite understand the XML generator file.
The resulting file is like file attached
